Dr. Ian Tidswell
Ian founded Ideal Price after noticing the lack of pricing help for smaller companies. In Ian’s 20 years focused on pricing as a consultant, change agent, manager and leader, he’s seen the good, the bad and the ugly of pricing. Ian believes any smart business person can ‘price like a professional’ if provided with the right tools and just a little coaching. Ideal Price is the result of that work.
Ian also founded een Consulting, focused on helping B2B companies improve their pricing via trainings, workshops and consulting projects.
Before that, Ian was the Global Head of Pricing for Syngenta, a leading Agricultural Supply manufacturer, and lead a global pricing transformation initiative at Medtronic. He began his pricing journey helping companies adopt pricing software.
Ian was a consultant for McKinsey & Co. He holds a B.Sc. from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. from Harvard University, both in Physics. You can learn more about his background on LinkedIn.
